2021 Golf Outing Info

The North Aurora Firefighters Association will be hosting its 21st Annual Golf Outing on Saturday, September 11th, 2021 to benefit the North Aurora Firefighters Association and “Budda’s Brotherhood Foundation” which was founded after the death of one of our own, Marco “Budda” Ordaz. Proceeds will be split between the two organizations.

Your contributions go right back to the community by supplementing our Public Education efforts. The Association also provides financial assistance to local charities, civic groups and offers annual college scholarships to graduating high school students from North Aurora.

Your donations also support Budda’s Brotherhood Foundation which is dedicated to helping local firefighters battling cancer. Budda’s Brotherhood Foundation was founded by Marco “Budda” Ordaz’s widow, Tricia Ordaz. Marco, a fulltime firefighter/paramedic with the North Aurora Fire District was diagnosed with leukemia in 2006. Marco passed in 2008 from complications of a stem cell transplant that was to cure him from the cancer. Multiple studies show that firefighters have a significantly increased risk of developing cancer. The Foundation provides assistance to the firefighters diagnosed with cancer to help with the financial struggles that commonly accompany the diagnosis of cancer.

To accomplish these important missions, we are hoping you join us in this years golf outing. This years outing will be held at Orchard Valley Golf Course in Aurora. Registration begins at 12:00 pm with a 1:00 pm shotgun start. If you would like to spend the day golfing, you can click the button below and download the golfer registration.
